Five for FRIDAY

1. My parents and Chels and Tara have been on a European cruise for the past week, so we were lucky to have Rudy stay with us for several days. Abbie absolutely adores him, and Rudy doesn't mind her for the time being. I'm sure once she's mobile he'll be dodging her every move. Here's a darling picture i took of the two of them. Abbie was having breakfast and Rudy hopped up on the sofa to check the situation out - Abbie is giving her typical cheesy smile

2. The other day Abbie was playing on the floor while I was working on getting dinner put together and apparently she was close enough to my purse to find my wallet and empty it in a matter of seconds... this girl is quick!

3. Ali and I took Spencer and Abbie to the ZOO this past Wednesday and we think the kids enjoyed it ... we do know that the merry-go-round was a hit (which is why we rode it TWICE). Most of the animals were hiding in the shade - but we managed to see the giraffes, which Abbie liked okay - i don't think she quite understood the "zoo". we'll have to try again next yearI think she made the connection between the zoo giraffes and her giraffe :)

4. We're up at the cabin again this weekend - it's so beautiful up here, we're enjoying every minute. Yesterday morning Abbie and i were playing and i put a wet wipe (unused i assure you) on her head ... she knew it was there, but she thought it was so funny. she is my silly little sweetheart! aren't these pictures great.

5. Abbie wants to crawl desperately. She can get herself in position and then she dive bombs it... i think she'll be catching on soon, which I'm so excited for. this is how starts her maneuver -
BONUS: i just had to add this picture of our monkey - tonight i bathed her in the sink and she thought it was pretty special. Her bath time has always been one of my favorite times of the day.
