we went to a BYU track meet to watch aunt Tara long jump... Abbie had a great timecrazy nap hair!and enjoying the nice warm spurt we had - we are wanting more warm weather to come our way

Potty Training ...

OK, so we've started sitting Abigail on the potty before her bath every night just to get her comfortable with it and she thinks it's hilarious - she just giggles. Anyway, i didn't think she was grasping the concept until today when she attempted to potty train one of her favorite teddy bears! haha, it was hilarious (i'm sure most of you are thinking this is gross). After Abbie's nap we were playing upstairs and she wandered out of her room and into mine - i went to find her and she was DUNKING her teddy bear IN THE TOILET! so gross i know, but hilarious at the same time - i tried so hard not to laugh, but how can you not. Needless to say, the dunking bear has been thouroughly washed and disinfected!

On another note - my sister, Ali, and I took the kids to the Living Aquarium in Sandy today and had a great time. The little ones loved the fishies, but especially loved all of the other kids and space to run. It was nice to get out of the house :) Sad thing though, my camera battery was dead so i have zero pictures of the event, but i managed to get a few of Abbie before we left the house. she's pulling weird faces, but still cute as ever.

hmmm... conference weekend was SO fabulous (although nobody told me that having a child would make watching conference such a task) we spent the weekend up at Clark's parent's cabin in Scofield and it was such a great getaway (much needed). Abigail had a great time playing with cousins and grandma and grandpa. Thanks again for a fun weekend!I took the plunge a few weeks ago and cut bangs! pretty brave i know... i'm starting to get used to them, but for a while everytime i'd look in the mirror it'd take a second to register that it was me :) i was in need of a change (i'd like to think it's part of my mid-mid-life crisis, along with the insane amount of circus peanuts i've been devouring ... but that's a whole different story)My cute sister Chelsie is getting married in a few weeks and she had her bridal pictures taken last week and tara, my mom and i went to watch/help... it was so much fun - and she looked absolutely gorgeous... although, i cannot post pictures for fear her soon-to-be hubby will read this, i'll post pictures of tara and my mom. Congrats again chels and brian - we're SO excited for you!
My sister-in-law Lindsay was in town a couple weeks ago and Abbie got to play with her DARLING cousin gracie for a couple hours. It was so great to see Lindsay and Gracie - we miss them and wish they'd get sick of Texas and move right on back :)Easter was wonderful. I of course used it as an excuse to buy Abbie something :) I've been wanting to get her a chair for a while now - so i took advantage (bad mama) but it paid off and she absolutely LOVES it. We had the annual easter egg hunt at the Anderson's (thanks again!) and a yummy dinner.well, that's what we've been up to ...

today's lunch was an adventure :)

Yesterday I was deep cleaning the kitchen and Abbie was playing (aka destroying) and somehow she managed to get back here ...Also, we had a swimsuit day again ... I can already see it now - she'll be one of those little ones who wants to wear her princess dress EVERYWHERE :) I love it.
