Conversations with Abigail.

i know i just did one of these, but the girl is a chatter box and this is one i had to write down so i won't forget it!
today in the car it went a little something like this ...

A: "Mama, when you were little did you sleep in Grandma's bed with her when Grandpa went out of town to work?"
(Abbie sleeps in my bed when Clark is traveling for work)
M: "maybe, but grandpa didn't have to travel for his job like dad does"
A: "oh, what is grandpa's work?"
M: "grandpa is a lawyer"
A: "what does lawyer mean?"
M: "lawyers help people fix their problems"
A: "oh, like if there's a fire he yells 'get out of the fire i will help you'?"
M: "um, no. that's how firefighters help people. Grandpa helps people if they need to sell their property or ..."
A: "oh okay. or sell their children? or if they have a pig to sell?"
M: "Grandpa doesn't help people sell their children sweetheart. maybe pigs tho..."

oh my goodness. this girl kills me! maybe i need to have grandpa explain his occupation to her.
